CloudLinux is an operating system developed for shared web servers. It isolates each hosting account in lightweight virtual environments called LVE, preventing a site from consuming excessive resources (CPU/RAM) and slowing down the entire server.
Licensing is done per server, based on IP, in monthly periods. When choosing a package, you need to select the edition that matches the control panel (cPanel or Plesk/DirectAdmin) installed on your server.
It works fully integrated with cPanel, Plesk and DirectAdmin as control panels. It can be easily installed by converting onto AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, CentOS and RHEL-based Linux distributions.
LVE is a lightweight virtualization layer that assigns each hosting user on the server independent CPU, RAM, IO and instantaneous process limits. This technology provides the real isolation and fair resource sharing on the server.
